Lawn-N-Order Landscaping started with removing the deteriorated decking and dealt next with the drainage issues. A large drain pit and over flow French drain was installed which caught the overflow and was sent to the street. The bank was then dug back some 5 feet and a natural stone retaining wall was crafted out of Virginia plum stone to give the clients more useable lawn area. New custom stone steps were designed (with the help of their grade school son’s research and rendering) with a hand railing. A cobblestone paver patio was then laid between the back door and the stone retaining wall. Columns with light fixtures for nighttime entertaining were built into the wall. A stone fire pit ring was built as the centerpiece with adjacent seating on the stonewall at just the right height and close enough to still enjoy the fire pit. This job took approximately 2.5 weeks to complete at a price of $38,000.
