LAWN CARE 101

Since 2001, LAWN-N-ORDER has been cutting lawns for both residential and commercial clients. Our professional staff is trained with all of the equipment in order to provide an outstanding cut to your lawn.  All of our employees are clean, courteous, and professionally uniformed. Lighting
We provide customized lighting plans to meet your needs. Accentuated outdoor landscape lighting can highlight exterior features such as arches, pillars, trees, greenery, street numbers and many other features. A dark home can be transformed into a lighting portrait with our outdoor lighting systems. A well-lit home also adds to the security of the property. You and your guests can come and go from the house at night with well lit steps and entry ways insuring safe passage. Property Maintenance

This is something that we far surpass the competition with.  Our maintenance customers don’t have to worry about anything.  Once we get set up and established, it’s as easy as pie.  We offer a variety of customized maintenance services, from full and total property maintenance which includes lawn, landscape, and trees, to only one or some of these services alone.  Also each service includes lots of smaller jobs that go into each, such as fertilizations, lawn aeration, mulching, etc…  Each of these non-basic services are available by choice of the customer each time, depending on the status of the property or finances.  We can provide a maintenance program to fit your needs.

Tree Work: Trimming & Installation
We are experienced in arborist work.  Whether you need your beloved trees carefully pruned or topped, a view cleared, or a large and dangerous removal done, we can help.  We know what is best for the health of your property.  

We can also add trees to your property - which can greatly help with your heating and cooling costs year around.  In the warm months, shade trees keep your home cool.  In the winter, with the leaves off, the sun's warmth comes through to help heat your home.  

We follow ANSI A300 PRUNING STANDARDS in order for your trees to receive the utmost care and remain healthy.

Lot Cleaning or Clearing
This is one of our favorites.  The word lot clearing is commonly used for ‘hack and slash operations’.  That is not how we operate, so we prefer to use the term ‘Lot Cleaning’.  For over a decade, we’ve been selectively cleaning property, leaving and uncovering existing desirable plants and trees.  If you’ve got a wooded area anywhere on your property that you’d like to see cleaned up but don’t want to lose your native plants, and or natural buffer, we can help.  Having so much WNC experience, gives us the knowledge and insight as to what plants are desirable.  We are very insightful into native plant ID and are very careful to preserve these beautiful and unique specimens, while cleaning around them to remove briars, dead trees and debris, or other undesirable plants or trees.  We do this mainly by hand, with good old fashioned labor.  This reduces or eliminates machine use, which helps prevent erosion and other destruction.  We also offer GREAT winter rates on lot cleaning.  It is the best time to have this work done; it’s good for the property and also keeps us busy when business slows.  Lot cleaning the way we do opens up and actually adds new usable property, which can also add property value!

Leaf, Brush, and Debris Removal
Whether you only need seasonal leaf removal, have and old pile of leafs, sticks, or there debris that you’re tired of looking at, or if you have any need to have stuff hauled away, we can help.

Hardscaping (Drainage, Patios, Walkways, Retaining Walls, Stone Works, and Grading)
Some people do not recognize the term ‘Hardscaping’.  For those of you out there that don’t, Hardscaping is the practice of constructing of walking areas, pathways, retaining walls, and drainage.  We do all if this, and if you have something in mind that’s not listed here, please call and ask. 

Improper drainage is the most common problem we see here in WNC.  Big new houses are built exquisitely, taking a long time to come together, then when the final stages are being completed, the drainage from the down spouts and around the whole property are rushed through or done improperly (usually because the budget has been maxed by the home builder), and it causes major problems and dollars down the road.  It can cause foundations to break, and property to wash away.  Have yours checked by calling for a free consultation
